The move will see childcare and early learning be included into the education portfolio because early childhood education and care provides the first vital stage of a children’s education, preparing children for school and life.

Christian Porter from South Australia has been promoted into the key role of Minister for Social Services replacing Scott Morision who has now been appointed Treasurer.
